With the fond memory of the Olympics still fresh in our minds, and the Paralympics still in full swing, London is soon to be reaching the end of its glorious summer of sport. If you’re not quite ready to leave your competitive streak behind you just yet, The Terrace at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel will be hosting The Belgravia Games, which will take place this weekend, from September 7th – 9th. The palatial outdoor terrace of this luxury, boutique hotel will be transformed with oversized games and an expertly crafted Sloane’s Gin infused menu served over the weekend.
The perfect oasis in which to escape the summer crowds of Knightsbridge, visitors can expect to wile away the hours at the secluded retreat by playing a number of classic childhood games, including giant versions of Connect 4, Kerplunk and Jenga.
In the fabulous al fresco dining space, however, gin fans are in for a real treat with a gin infused menu created by The Terrace’s head chef Martin Gabler in partnership with Sloane’s Gin. Highlights from this perfectly summery menu include pork fillet with juniper berry & black pepper crust in gin & coriander sauce and pan-fried sea bass flambéed in gin with herb butter sauce with basil pesto, tomatoes & sautéed spinach. End with a light, refreshing gin & tonic sorbet served with fresh raspberries, the perfect British dessert to celebrate a momentous year for London.
Open daily from 11am to 10pm, The Terrace is the perfect destination to enjoy lunch, dinner or simply an evening drink during balmy summer months. Now all we need is for the weather to hold out…
A complimentary Sloane’s Gin & Tonic will be offered to the first 25 arrivals each day who bring a voucher available to download from www.facebook.com/JumeirahLowndesHotel or www.facebook.com/SloanesGin. If you miss out, bring the voucher to claim a Gin & Tonic for the special price of £4.00.
