London members nightclub, Chinawhite, is honouring the biggest summer of sport in UK history in the only way it sees fit; by launching London’s most expensive Olympic cocktail fittingly priced at £2,012.

The elegant drink, dubbed the Golden Cocktail, contains en extravagant mix of Hennessy Paradis Imperial Cognac and Luxor 24ct gold leaf champagne, as well as a surprising set of 18ct gold rings at the bottom of the glass. These custom-made, luxurious gold rings are the delicate work of London jeweller, Hirsh, and combine gold with four precious stones; ruby, black diamond, emerald and sapphire.

As well as being gifted at random to some deserving British gold medallists, the cocktail can also be pre-ordered by guests with an appreciative palette.

The launch of the Golden Cocktail is part of The Last Lap – seventeen nights of exclusive events over the Olympic fortnight specifically designed to provide world class hospitality for the world’s top athletes in the most perfectly sumptuous of London settings. As well as being attended by athelets and guests from around the world, gold-plated passed are available to the public and allow entry to the prestigious club throughout the seventeen nights.

Rob Woodhouse, The Last Lap Founder and Olympic medallist added,
“Athletes don’t want to think about celebrating until they finish their last race or event. Then it’s party time, and they want to party in the heart of the city they’re in, to experience the local culture. The Last Lap is set to be the best party in town and with this golden cocktail on offer for successful Brits, it’s even more reason to go for gold!”
