This might not a typical choice for CDCLifestyle’s ‘Boutique of the Week’ on a worldwide scale, but its exclusivity besets in being the first independent store to hit the UK. The exterior might seem minimal, but what is the need for extravagant décor when the exuberant sparkle of all that lies within is enough to stop any girl with a love of luxury in their tracks. Once drawn in, the intricate details of the beautiful hairpieces glimmer with the type of high-class glamour adorned on many a red carpet event.

The Spring Summer 2012 collection offers a range of beautiful statement pieces for both day and evening. From simple hair combs to barrettes and Alice bands, day looks are a combination of ultra-feminine and graphic styles. Pretty floral and bow shaped silhouettes come in sugary lilacs, creams and cute polka dots prints, all dusted with Swarovski crystals, of course. Eye-catching sculptural pieces are created in a neutral palette of caramels and black, and are constructions of intertwined curves and swirls of hardened resin, punctured leather and layered geometric blocks.
The Alexandre de Paris evening wear collection is a mix of beautifully embellished hair combs, Alice bands, barrettes and jewelled fascinators in shiny black and taupe lacquered resin with sculpted flowers trimmed with milky white pearls and crystals. Print and texture feature heavily throughout the collection, with Alice bands and barrettes adorned in delicate lace photo prints, nude snake skin and striking op-art and floral prints, all teamed with Alexandre de Paris’ signature crystal detailing in a rainbow assortment of beautiful colours.
Staying true to its heritage, Alexandre de Paris still produces each and every piece by hand at the label’s workshop in France, shunning mass production techniques in favour of creating long lasting products made by a team of gifted craftsmen that will stand the test of time for you to treasure for years to come.
