SceneCheck checks out Boujis for a private jewellery show from Stella & Dot

SceneCheck Boujis Club Prive Luxury Jewellery Fashion Show 31-3-12

This week’s Scene Check took us to a club well-known for its royal visitors; South Kensington’s exclusive private members club, Boujis. The two Princes have been spotted partying the night away at this great venue on a number of occasions over the years which has led to the club gaining the reputation as something of a royal favourite. Home to many great events including this year’s Warner music Brits afterparty, Boujis is a hotspot for glamorous gatherings and this Saturday was no exception.

The launch of luxury jewellery brand, Stella & Dot’s new Amalfi collection was the glamorous gathering in question this Saturday. Hosts, Club Privé put together a gorgeous event with sushi and cocktails galore for all who attended. Featured in Vogue, Glamour and Instyle magazines, Stella & Dot’s striking pieces were displayed on the necks of the beautiful models who sauntered around the club slowly giving us time to pay attention and appreciate the intricate detailing of the stunning designs which make up the brands’ newest collection.

The collection was presented by personal stylist and image consultant, Larisa Archakova, who has enjoyed a successful 15 year career in the fashion retail industry working for such established and luxury brands such as Fendi and Hugo Boss. As an independent stylist at Stella & Dot, Larisa works closely with the company, holding various trunk shows for them and showing the collections at events such as these.

The club itself was the perfect location for such a display. With sultry purple, blue and red lighting and a maze like lay-out, Boujis feels almost like an underground hideout. The space is elegantly decorated and spread around a central staircase and the chic black leather padding makes for comfortable seating in the many mysterious alcoves which can be found around the club. With resident Dj’s Klaus, who played at this particular event, and Sam Young, Boujis’ playlist is an infectious mix of house and electro and will certainly have you on your feet.

Now we can see why it has the royal stamp of approval and we can give it ours too!

Opening hours- Monday-Sunday 10pm-3am

Boujis, 43 Thurloe Street
London SW7 2LQ
