L’Helicoptère par Hermès EC 135

Helicopter maker Eurocopter have partnered with Hermès to make a special version of their EC 135 helicopter pertinently named l’Hélicoptère par Hermès. The key concept of L’Helicoptère par Hermès is: the passenger is all important.

L’Hélicoptère par Hermès EC135 is twin engined multimission helicopter designed for civil use, it has a spacious cabin which can accommodate up to five passengers plus a pilot as well as several pieces of luggage. L’Hélicoptère par Hermès is a standard EC 135 technically but the interior was designed by Hermès with guidance from Eurocopter’s engineers. The interior features Hermès calf leather seats and leather trimmed controls, the cabin is enclosed in Hermès canvas and comes with binoculars so the passengers can view the scenery from above.

Based on the EC135, the world leader in the new generation of light, twin-engine helicopters, ‘l’Hélicoptère par Hermès’ unites the latest and most advanced aircraft technologies developed by Eurocopter with the savoir-faire of Hermès, which has accompanied discerning travellers for more than 170 years. Mercedes-Benz style EC 145 Helicopter

Theocopter, leaders in helicopter transport, yesterday celebrated the world premiere of its EC145 model, billed as a luxurious form of transport for affluent businessmen.

The launch tool place at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition 2011 (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. Tailor-made for luxury-class business and private travel, the helicopter’s interior design was created in the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Italy and is inspired by the car maker’s luxury-class saloons. The helicopter boasts deluxe materials, elegant woods, and ambient lighting that can be adjusted to a number of different colour and brightness settings, as well as spacious multi-function boxes with various equipment options.

Prof. h.c. Dr. Gorden Wagener, head of design at Mercedes-Benz, said: “We are very pleased to have realized the first product of ‘Mercedes-Benz Style’ with Eurocopter.

American Express' Private Jet airmiles

American Express has announced a new part of their Membership Rewards program designed to get card members into private jets. The program called Private Jet Rewards lets cardmembers redeem points for private jet travel through Bombardier Skyjet and Flexjet. Now through the end of the year they are offering a program where cardmembers only need half the usual amount of points required for each level of flight, for example, a $15,000 credit toward flight costs 585,000 points instead of 1,152,000. The program is for both the Skyjet private charter service and the Flexjet fractional membership program…..
