A new promotion for a good cause is on now and running throughout June at Cinnamon Kitchen near Liverpool Street station. The offer – three courses and a cocktail for only £29 – sees a donation of £5 going to the Find Your Feet charity as part of its current Curry for Change campaign.

Find Your Feet is a small organisation working in remote areas of India, Nepal, Malawi and Zimbabwe to ‘enable poor rural families to grow enough food so they don’t have to go hungry, to strengthen their voice so they can speak out against injustice and to earn enough money so they can find their feet’. Through the Curry for Change campaign, the charity aims to raise awareness of its work with vulnerable families in India who suffer from hunger and to raise vital funds to help change lives while celebrating the best of Indian cuisine.

As anyone who’s had the pleasure of dining at Cinnamon Kitchen would most likely testify, it certainly ranks among London’s finest examples of Indian cuisine.Vivek Singh, Executive Chef of Cinnamon Kitchen (as well his Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Soho restaurants), visited Find Your Feet projects in Chhattisgarh, India a few years ago and has since hosted a number of fundraising events at his restaurants to support the cause.

Cinnamon Kitchen is located at 9 Devonshire Square, EC2M 4YL. Visit the restaurant online at cinnamonclub.com. Find out more about the Curry for Change campaign at curryforchange.org.uk.
