Officine Panerai, the haute horologerie company from the Italian city of Florence, has released their new 2013 Catalogue app for the iPad and iPhone. Free to download from the Apple iTunes Store, this is the most up-to-date tool for all enthusiasts who wish to find out about the latest novelties from the watchmaker.
The latest guide has an updated and even greater choice of content, images and videos devoted to the watches of the Panerai collections, the most exclusive Special Editions, as well as all the new pieces which were recently shown at the 2013 SIHH watch fair in Switzerland. The app includes a wide range of highly detailed technical explanations about the movements created in-house by Officine Panerai and information about the materials used, together with comprehensive photographs and videos that allow users to discover every detail of Officine Panerai’s watches.
The ‘Find Your Panerai’ tool, which is currently available on the watchmaker’s website (www.panerai.com), enables potential customers to find the timepiece which is best suited to their requirements and preferences. Furthermore, there are two new functions designed specifically for mobile devices: ‘Wear Your Panerai’, where individuals can sport Panerai models “virtually” on a photograph of their wrist, and ‘Night View’, which displays the watch during periods of darkness, therefore highlighting its qualities of luminescence and readability. In addition, through the updated ‘Area News’, surfers can synchronise their smartphone with the information on the Panerai website and receive real-time updates from their social media pages.
An Android version of the 2013 Officine Panerai Catalogue will be available in the near future on Google Play.
