The historic Grade II listed house had been recently renovated and refurbished using only the finest craftsmen to restore the original features. Where possible, oak beams and walls dating back to the 16th and 17th century have been exposed, creating a traditional atmosphere. Whilst preserving the tradition of the house has been key, the styles and comforts of luxury modern living has been tastefully added, creating an award winning finish. The property boasts five double bedrooms, all professional and individually decorated.

As you enter the house, Rock Mills charm will hit you straightaway, with a modern wood burner in the reception hall, and a large modern kitchen with a beautiful dining area complete with inglenook fireplace and flagstone flooring. Through the dining room you will find the Lower Library, part of the original mill of the house. This area is an ideal place to relax, watch television and enjoy Rock Mill’s licensed wine caller with natural running stream. Here wine lovers can select fine wines from around the world. For those of you that never rest, the Upper Library provides a relaxed atmosphere in which to work from, with Rock Mill’s mini business centre found here.

The upper level of the main house has three large bedrooms including the Vaulted Room, the Mill Room and the Lake Room accompanied by two stylish bathrooms. The Upper Mill provides two coastal bedrooms with a beautiful bathroom.

Rock Mill is as charming outside as it is inside. Located in the heart of the Blackdown Hills in East Devon, Rock Mill is set in 18 acres of beautiful countryside. Considered one of the most unspoilt parts of the country and officially classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Blackdown Hills is the ideal location to experience British Countryside at its best.

Flowing gently though the estate, you will find spring water winding its way through a number of ponds and lakes, it can even be found in the heart of the house as it meanders through the wine cellar! Rock Mill Estate also boasts an outdoor heated swimming pool, ideal for the summer holidays.

Currency conversion
Whilst prices are quoted in GBP Sterling, Quintessentially Villas can also receive payment in Euros or US Dollars and you will be advised the conversion rate applicable.

Cancellation charges

• 30% of the total rental fee if the cancellation is notified more than or equal to 40 days before the start of rental
• period;
• 50% if cancellation is notified between 39 and 30 days before the start of rental period;
• 60% if cancellation is notified between 29 and 22 days before the start of rental period;
• 80% if cancellation is notified between 21 and 15 days before the start of rental period100% if cancellation is notified during the 14 days before the start of rental period.
