The lodge, owned by Sir Richard Branson, epitomises safari luxury boasting a swimming pool, gym, tennis court, wine cellar, Aroma Boma spas and a Bush Observatory. Moving away from the traditional colonial style lodge, Ulusaba re-defines the ultimate safari experience, providing the ideal place to observe the ‘Big Five’ and to kick back and unwind. Guests at Ulusaba have the option to book individual rooms, exclusively hire individual lodges or the reserve as a whole.
The luxurious villa style apartment, Cliff Lodge offers two magnificent suites and is located a short walk from the Main House. Ideal for families and friends seeking an exclusive getaway, or couples wanting to enjoy those special occasions in pure privacy, Cliff Lodge guarantees seclusion, indulgence and exclusivity.
Suite One at Cliff Lodge offers a spacious lounge / dining area with fireplace and outdoor deck boasting panoramic views across the savannah plain below. The suite offers two luxurious bedrooms accommodating up to 3 adults and 2 children, with one large bedroom and a second smaller bedroom.
Suite Two at Cliff Lodge offers a spacious one bedroom suite accommodating up to 2 adults and 2 children. The lounge area offers a fireplace and a large viewing deck with Jacuzzi.
When hiring both suites for exclusive use, you can enjoy the luxury of your own private chef and private game vehicle. Cliff Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 5 adults and 4 children. The two Cliff Lodge Suites can also be booked individually within 4 months prior to guest arrival.

Transfers from Ulusaba’s airstrip to Cliff Lodge, all meals served in a avariety of locations, all drinks including a top quality wine list and fine champagne, twice daily game drives and a daily safari walk.

Payment terms
30% deposit on booking. Balance due 12 weeks before departure

Currency conversion
Whilst prices are quoted in Euros, Quintessentially Villas can also receive payment in GBP Sterling or US Dollars and you will be advised the conversion rate applicable.
Cancellation charges
- 30% of the total rental fee if the cancellation is notified more than or equal to 40 days before the start of rental period;
- 50% if cancellation is notified between 39 and 30 days before the start of rental period;
- 60% if cancellation is notified between 29 and 22 days before the start of rental period;
- 80% if cancellation is notified between 21 and 15 days before the start of rental period100% if cancellation is notified during the 14 days before the start of rental period.
