£80,000 bottle of Armand de Bignac
Sold for a staggering £80,000 pounds ( $130,000) ; the Armand de Brignac or ‘The Ace of Spades’ was just one of two bottles in existence. Each bottle takes about six months to create, as each one is hand crafted by a team of eight expert glass artisans. The bottle was sold at OneForOne – a boutique night club known to be frequented by celebrities and jet setters in Knightsbridge. The bottle reputedly purchased by famous gambler. Don Johnson, although the club refused to comment on the identity of the guest.
The boutique nightclub created and designed for those who want the best in service. Guests enjoy private rooms, an individual host for each table and details such as lockable under table drawers.
The huge bottle required two staff members to carry it each time someone asked for a refill.
The club is now considering ordering a case of the bottles given that this one was sold in just a day of arrival.
