Is there anywhere more quintessentially ‘London’ than The Ritz? And is there any drink more luxurious than fine champagne? This year, Laurent-Perrier is celebrating its 200th anniversary with a dinner hosted by London’s most iconic hotel.
Originally founded in 1812, the House of Champagne Laurent-Perrier owes it worldwide success and prestige to the company’s honouring of traditional values and a passion and respect for the quality of their product. Thus, with an unfaltering reputation for producing some of the finest champagne in the world, Laurent-Perrier, together with The Ritz, has created a remarkable four-course menu accompanied with some of Laurent-Perrier’s finest offerings.
The Laurent-Perrier Bicentenary Dinner will be held on Wednesday, 19th September 2012, in the magnificent surroundings of the 18thcentury William Kent House, and under the culinary expertise of The Ritz’s Executive Chef, John Williams MBE. Priced at £275 per person, the evening will begin with a champagne and canapé reception in the absolutely stunning Marie Antoinette Suite, and will be followed by dinner in the distinguished Music Room. For the benefit of champagne aficionados and mere admirers alike, Mr Bernard de La Giraudière, Laurent-Perrier’s Chairman, will be on hand to advise how to appreciate the nuances of the champagnes on offer which, combined with an exquisite menu, promises a unique and memorable dining experience. The expertly crafted four-course menu will also be accompanied by the prestige cuvée Grand Siècle by Laurent-Perrier.
The Ritz, perfectly nestled in the heart of London’s West End, has long been the hotel of choice for both Royalty and aristocracy, amongst other discerning guests. With its renewed and luxurious Louis XVI style interiors and impeccable service, the evening will be just as much a celebration and appreciation of one of the world’s most famous hotels.
