Ever the quintessentially British location, Mayfair has now provided fine watchmakers Bremont with its new nesting ground in its first standalone store. As well as a line-up of high-end brands such as Purdey and Marc Jacobs, the stores remains faithful in incorporating the unique heritage of the brand.
Representing all that is great about British design and manufacturing, the suitably named co-founders of the brand, Nick and Giles English, pride themselves on crafting timeless and beautiful pilot’s watches of exceptional quality. After the tragic passing of their pilot father, the brothers were provided with the incentive to create fine watches with a purpose, whilst encompassing the upmost in luxury. Made in limited numbers, every watch is Chronometer certified with the highest execution in mechanical finesse, durability and precision.
The brand has gone from strength to strength in recent times. Culminating its’ many accolades since being co-founded in 2002, in July the brand was named Luxury Watch Brand of the year 2012 at the UK Jewellery Awards.
Guests in attendance of the opening of the flagship boutique store alongside the co-founders included Orlando Bloom, Graham Bell and Ben Saunders. Of the new store, Giles English said, ‘the boutique will be more than a traditional watch store. There will be an explorers club based from there, a considerable watch library and it will be the only place in the world to see unique items like the Bremont B-1 Marine Clock’.
